„Väike eestimaine laul“
Leelo Tungal
Maakeral tilluke laik,
paljudest naabritest vähem,
südames suur, ilus paik,
hingele kõikidest lähem.
Kaugele rännates ma
tean – mind jääb ootama tema,
Eesti, mu isade maa,
Eesti, kus elab mu ema.
Kaugele rännates ma
alati teda pean meeles.
Mõndagi öelda ei saa
muidu kui selle maa keeles.
Meri, mis sageli hall,
tuul, mis on sageli vali…
Suviste pilvede all
leivaks veel saamata vili…
Maanteede looklevad keed,
metsatee hämarad käänud,
siniste järvede veed
südame külge on jäänud.
Maakeral tilluke laik,
paljudest naabritest vähem,
südames suur, ilus paik,
hingele kõikidest lähem,
hingele kõikidest lähem…
A Little Estonian Song
Leelo Tungal
A teensy speck upon the globe
far less than most of its neighbors
in my heart, a wonderous place,
in my soul, a home like no other.
Roaming far, I
know – it will always be waiting,
Estonia, the land of my forefathers,
Estonia, the land my mother calls home.
Journeying far, I
cherish it always;
Much can never be worded
in any language but mine.
The sea, often gray,
the wind, often roaring…
Grain not yet baked into bread
beneath the summery clouds…
The winding ribbons of road,
the forest path’s dusky turns,
the waters of bluest lakes,
all in my heart, eternal.
A teensy speck upon the globe,
far less than most of its neighbors,
in my heart, a wonderous place,
in my soul, a home like no other,
in my soul, a home like no other…
With influences from early Estonian Rock sounds of Ruja and In Spe to Genesis, Beardfish and Gentle Giant, this is a band
that is well versed in old-school prog rock, and blends these colours together in a new pallet that is fresh, whilst still recognizing its roots....more

The new live EP by Ryan W. Stevenson's project reminded me, that this debut album must have been gone down the wishlist... If instrumental Canterbury stuff is your thing, this should be a no-brainer. Firmly rooted in the past (late 60s, 70s), nevertheless with a fresh sound. Guests incude The Tangent's Andy Tillison and Soft Machine's Theo Travis. Carsten Pieper

Mysterious, yet nostalgic, Isolubilia is truly an ode to the romance found in the pursuit of a mystery. Musically rich in turbulence and serenity, majesty and humbleness, this album made me feel both lonely, yet understood as an isolated individual. Perhaps we're all fellow romantics, looking up at the same night sky, trying to wring our own meaning out of the stars. I hope that pursuit never ends. The John
